The Noah Tree

While sitting in the hospital holding and bonding with Noah Tommy says to me, "We are going to get a tree and plant it in the back yard, it will be the first tree we have planted and we will call it the Noah tree." This was so thoughtful of him and it brought a big smile to my face.

So the day we left the hospital we went to the local nursery and bought a pear tree. Tommy has always liked pear trees. The golf course he worked at for 10 years had them lined up along the drive. He would always look foward to spring time when they would bloom white and put off a fresh sent.

With a little help from Thomas, he had the tree planted the next day.

I often look out the window and smile thinking of Noah when I see the tree.

What a great idea. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband. We are looking foward to watching it bloom.
